I was floored by this article, so here it is posted online. Thank you so much Frank for your kind words. laptop Stolen

0 min read
Tonight (july 13th) I left my sculpture studio for roughly 25minutes to have dinner. upon returning, I found my door unlocked (which was odd as I clearly locked it) and when I entered the room, the window had been opened, and my desk was trashed, with no laptop to be seen. it had been stolen.\ all my new artwork, and material for work, job, personal files, photos of my life, everything is gone and in someone elses hands... it feels horrible. the police siad there was nothing they could really do. they spotted fresh footprints and figured out how the individual got in, but that's not enough. insurance won't cover it, as it's my new studi

The only prize/scholarship I wanted to win (graduation scholorships from art college), and I did, so how excited was I?! Very. Very, very excited to have the studio space I need to do bigger sculpture. (a $9000 studio, all to myself, who wouldn't smile? I'm honoured the judges felt my piece worthy of winning). I now have a personal 500sq ft studio in the heart of Toronto's art scene at 401 Richmond, just a hop skip away from where I live. I'll be finishing up the two small pieces I'm doing now, and then when I get the studio july 1st, I'll be starting some large works. Thank you OCAD, donors, and 401. Adam's gonna make some crazy shit now.

Your work is so profoundly disturbing. I find myself constantly uncomfortable when looking through your gallery. However it causes a train-wreck like reaction when flipping through, my eyes glued in abject horror at the possibilities of what I'm looking at may actually be real. To have art provoke such a direct reaction from someone as rock-like is me is impressive. Your work is phenomenal.
It's funny; after really looking into your Genpet installation, I was hit by the idea of a story; a world that really does sell these, but one somehow defies its genetic code and grows, learns, becomes a voice for those that could only warble helplessly. I'd love to see more of your work. It's highly thought provoking and downright interesting to look at for hours.
I thought of that too! Only, it's a bit darker. I imagined that maybe all those chips and nutrients were really just to make sure the pets didn't live past a certain age.
Your genpet work is fantastic, really opens the eyes of the blind.
Fantastic work!
Cheers from Croatia!
i really wish the genpets was real
